I want to read all of Murakami's novels. I like his style of writing. Of all the books I read from the different authors, Murakami's writing is what caught my taste.
I can't do this yet though (reading all of his novels) because I don't have purchasing power to buy all of his books (I don't like reading e-books or listening to audio books. E-books make my eyes hurt and audio books make me sleepy).
The books I've read from him so far are:
1. Kafka on the Shore
2. The Wind-up Bird Chronicle
3. Norwegian Wood
4. After Dark
5. South of the Border, West of the Sun
6. A Wild Sheep Chase
7. Sputnik Sweetheart
I have a lot yet to read. If I can borrow from friends, it's fine. I saw Papilord reading Blind Willow, Sleeping Woman and asked him if I can borrow it after he's done reading it. Anyways, here is the list of Murakami's books that I still need to read:
1. Blind Willow, Sleeping Woman
2. after the quake
3. The Elephant Vanishes
4. Hard-boiled Wonderland and the End of the World
5. Dance Dance Dance
6. Pinball, 1973*
7. Hear the Wind Sing*
8. Underground
9. What I Talk About When I Talk About Running
10. 1Q84
I need to read all of these books otherwise I cannot catch up. Murakami will surely write more novels as long as he lives. The number of the books I've read and the books I haven't read don't break even. Ugh.
*I think those books are phased out already and you can't find them on typical bookstores.
Marami sa bookay-ukay. May mga nakita kong Murakami dun. The Elephant Vanishes, Dance Dance Dance etc.
I loik the smell of books :)))
PS: nagblog na ko dito sa blog mo ah. Hahaha -L
Meron na pala akong Blind Willow, Sleeping Woman. Nahiram ko yung kay Papilord. I wanna read Kafka on the Shore and The Wind-up Bird Chronicle again. I want to have copies of my own too.
ReplyDeletePara kang si Berna favorite ang smell ng books.
